Who you are

You have a bachelor's degree in finance, business, mathematics, or a related field, and bring 5-10 years of operations experience in the hedge fund or financial industry. Your strong attention to detail is complemented by excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, allowing you to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with various stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and enhance operational efficiency.

Desirable

Experience with security master data management and familiarity with trading and operational processes will set you apart. You have a proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving data issues, showcasing your ability to work under pressure and deliver timely solutions. Your background in finance equips you with the knowledge necessary to understand the complexities of trading and reporting systems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will maintain and manage the firm’s global security master and the full universe of reference data. You will create and update operational reference data used in trading and downstream systems, including trading and custodial accounts, broker codes, commission rates, and legal entity details. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve pricing and data issues raised by the Trading Desk will be crucial, as you work with Trade Support and Technology to investigate and remediate trade flow errors.

You will partner with stakeholders across Portfolio Management, Compliance, Stock Loan, Legal, Risk, Financial Reporting, Tax, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology to resolve issues effectively. Collaborating with Technology, you will design, test, and deploy system enhancements that improve operational processes. Additionally, you will identify and drive automation initiatives to increase straight-through processing and operational efficiency, contributing to the overall success of the Operations team.
