Overview

GetYourGuide is hiring an IT Operations Specialist to ensure the smooth operation and security of IT services. You'll manage the IT Helpdesk and support internal IT projects. This role requires experience in IT operations and support.

Who you are

You have a solid background in IT operations, with experience managing helpdesk services and supporting users both locally and remotely. You understand the importance of IT security and compliance, ensuring that all processes align with company policies. Your organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to manage IT inventory and documentation effectively. You are proactive in sharing knowledge and providing training to end users, contributing to a positive IT experience for everyone. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to enhance IT services.

Desirable

Experience with AV technologies and video conferencing setups is a plus, as is familiarity with IT project management. You are comfortable with various IT tools and platforms, and you have a knack for troubleshooting technical issues efficiently.

What you'll do

As an IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the IT Helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution of support tickets for both local and remote users. You will oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, which include hardware procurement, software configuration, and account provisioning. Your role will also involve supporting AV technologies, including video conferencing setups and live event support. You will maintain and improve IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and internal wikis to ensure that all team members have access to the information they need. Additionally, you will organize and track IT inventory and storage, ensuring accurate records and smooth logistics. You will participate in the planning and execution of internal IT projects and system upgrades, contributing to the overall efficiency of the IT department. Compliance with IT security, privacy, and company policies will be a key focus in your daily tasks. You will also share your knowledge and provide training to end users, helping to foster a positive IT experience across the organization.
