SeatGeek is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Discovery team to lead a group of engineers in enhancing user experience and driving customer engagement. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on operational best practices.

You have a strong background in engineering management, with experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features. You understand the importance of collaboration and communication, and you thrive in environments where you can guide and mentor your team members. You are passionate about improving operational and engineering best practices, ensuring that your team operates efficiently and effectively. You have a keen interest in user experience and customer engagement, and you are excited about the opportunity to work in the ticketing industry.

Desirable

Experience in the ticketing or entertainment industry would be a plus, as would familiarity with product search and recommendation systems. You are comfortable with both backend and frontend technologies, and you have a track record of successfully managing teams through the product development lifecycle.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Discovery team, you will lead a talented group of engineers responsible for developing features that enhance the customer journey from discovery to consideration. You will collaborate closely with product managers to prioritize and plan product enhancements that deliver value to both fans and enterprise customers. Your role will involve providing regular feedback to your team members, conducting one-on-ones, and supporting their career development. You will also play an active role in the recruiting process, helping to grow the engineering team.
