SingleStore is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design and optimize cloud environments and internal developer platforms. You'll work with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform to enhance software delivery. This role requires a strong DevOps mindset and cloud infrastructure expertise.
You are a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with a strong background in DevOps and cloud infrastructure. You have experience designing, operating, and optimizing cloud environments, and you thrive in solving complex technical problems. Your hands-on development skills allow you to automate processes and improve operational efficiency. You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps tooling, and you understand the importance of creating scalable and resilient systems.
You have a deep understanding of Kubernetes and container runtimes, and you are comfortable working with the broader cloud-native ecosystem. You enjoy collaborating with engineering, QA, data, and product teams to ensure that systems are easy to use and support fast, reliable software delivery. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and are committed to enhancing developer productivity through automation.
Experience with AI-assisted automation tools is a plus, as is familiarity with various cloud service providers. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can further enhance your contributions to the team. You value diversity and inclusion and are eager to work with a global team.
In this role, you will be responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and operational workflows. You will leverage scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code to maintain consistency across cloud environments. Your expertise in Kubernetes will be crucial as you own the deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems that support engineering.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that internal developer platforms are optimized for performance and reliability. Your role will involve troubleshooting complex issues and implementing solutions that enhance system resilience. You will also contribute to the development of best practices for cloud infrastructure management and DevOps processes.
