Confluent is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive revenue growth in the Telco sector. You'll leverage your sales and negotiation skills to sell Confluent solutions to leading companies. This role requires a proven track record in a value-driven sales model.
You have a strong background in sales, particularly in the technology sector, with a focus on enterprise accounts. Your experience includes successfully managing complex sales cycles and demonstrating value to C-Level executives. You possess a consumption and growth mentality, always looking for ways to expand existing customer relationships while acquiring new ones. You thrive in collaborative environments, valuing teamwork and open communication. Your ability to ask hard questions and provide honest feedback makes you a trusted partner to your clients and colleagues alike. You are driven by results and have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus, as is familiarity with data streaming technologies. You may also have a background in account management or business development, which complements your sales expertise. A strong understanding of the competitive landscape and the ability to position Confluent's offerings effectively will set you apart.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within our large and complex Telco accounts. You will proactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a robust sales pipeline, ensuring that you meet and exceed your quarterly sales targets. Your strategic approach will involve leading and executing a complex sales cycle, where you will demonstrate the value of Confluent's solutions to C-Level executives. You will become an in-depth expert in Confluent's offerings and product suites, allowing you to effectively communicate their benefits to potential clients. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to post-sale support.
