Agoda is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead tax compliance matters related to VAT, sales tax, and GST globally. You'll work closely with the advisory team and collaborate with Product and Legal teams. This position is based in Bangkok and requires strong communication skills.
You have a strong background in tax compliance, particularly in indirect taxes such as VAT, sales tax, and GST. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills enable you to navigate complex tax regulations effectively. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product and Legal.
You understand the evolving landscape of digital services and are prepared to adapt to changes in tax regulations. Your experience in advisory roles has equipped you with the ability to provide strategic insights and guidance on tax compliance matters. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.
In this role, you will lead all tax compliance matters related to indirect taxes for Agoda across the globe. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with VAT, sales tax, and GST regulations, working closely with the Indirect Tax Senior Manager. Your role will involve advising various business units on indirect tax implications and strategies.
You will collaborate with the Product and Legal teams to ensure that tax considerations are integrated into business decisions. Your expertise will help Agoda navigate the complexities of international tax compliance, ensuring that the company meets its obligations while optimizing its tax position.
You will also play a key role in developing and implementing tax policies and procedures that align with Agoda's business objectives. Your insights will contribute to the overall strategy of the Tax and Finance team, which consists of approximately 100 professionals.
