We are looking for a talented Partner Manager to join our Amazon Mentor BR team. The Partner Manager will be responsible for scaling seller recruitment and development trough external partners. The role requires strong skills in partnership development and project development.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage a pipeline of e-commerce consulting, integrator and content creators
- Own and develop mechanisms to scale partner operations, education and support
- Actively hunt potential players in the market and build internal projects to leverage results trough partnerships
- Own and report to leadership key business metrics related to partner and seller development
- Work with cross-functional teams (Account managers, BizDev, PMs, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
- Enable partners to learn and master Amazon's tools and systems so they can teach and train the merchants to become self-sufficient in managing their catalog, inventory and performance efficiently and to the required standards.
A day in the life
The Amazon Mentor Program incentivizes third-party partners (3PPs)- such as integrators, consultants and content creators to refer, launch and grow Sellers on Amazon, allowing us to scale our capabilities to onboard new Seller Partners. The partners are trained to prospect leads, pitch Sellers, provide launch assistance (e.g., catalog and listing), and post-launch engagement for up to 4 months (e.g., Ads, FBA). Mentor team created daily mechanisms and strategies to improve seller experience trough partnerships- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience
- Experience managing and growing large accounts, product marketing or management consulting roles
- Experience translating customer needs into business requirements
- Experience working with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements- Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
