Job Description

We're looking for an experienced leader to manage a terrific dev team.

Do you know what it takes to deliver top-notch software?

Are you self-motivated and ready to help us establish best practices in a fun, professional culture?

If you're interested in being part of a fast-paced tech company with the world's biggest e-commerce platform, this could be the role for you. You and your team will build scalable AI systems that use machine learning to prevent fraud and damaged customer trust. You'll tackle complex problems and use state-of-the-art tools to support rapid business growth.

As the manager, you'll lead a team of highly-talented engineers to develop large-scale, high-performance, and reliable ML systems. You'll work closely with ML scientists and business owners, understand their requirements, and deliver innovative solutions to thwart those nefarious folk we call "bad actors." You'll own and develop key systems to ensure that we continue to provide stable, robust services to our customers and other teams. And you'll get to innovate based on new ideas, building comprehensive features for risk detection across Amazon.

This organization makes high-stakes decisions for a wide range of customers - buyers, sellers, vendors, and more. We're building a safe, trustworthy place for people to shop and sell. It's a constant balancing act, but we use technology and science to scale it all. This engineering team creates next-gen ML services that are ahead of the industry. We accelerate AI and ML with automated, intelligent solutions. And we leverage the latest tech from AWS as well as open source solutions to stay ahead of the bad guys.
