Key job responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of engineers, researchers, and product managers working on connected vehicle technology.
- Develop and execute long-term strategies for integrating connected vehicles into Amazon's logistics network.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various Amazon divisions to identify opportunities and challenges for connected vehicle deployment.
- Partner with external vendors, research institutions, and regulatory bodies to advance connected vehicle technology and ensure compliance.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines for multiple concurrent connected vehicle initiatives.
- Drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Represent Amazon's connected vehicle efforts in industry forums and conferences.- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment- Experience partnering with product and program management teams
- Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $198,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $342,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
