Overview

MongoDB is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth. You'll focus on formulating and executing sales strategies while building relationships with CTOs and technical leaders. This role requires 4+ years of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced environment.

Who you are

You are a driven individual with over 4 years of field experience in a quota-carrying sales role, demonstrating a strong ability to acquire new business and grow revenue. Your energy and passion for sales are evident in your proactive approach to identifying and closing sales opportunities. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success.

Your experience includes strategic prospecting into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users, allowing you to build strong relationships that lead to growth opportunities. You understand the importance of feedback and input in refining sales strategies and are eager to contribute to a culture of innovation and success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline within your assigned territory, focusing on new customer acquisition. You will formulate and execute a sales strategy that aligns with MongoDB's goals, leveraging your expertise to drive revenue growth. You will partner with Solution Architects and the Professional Services team to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation of solutions.

You will work closely with enterprise ecosystem partner sales and channel partners to maximize deal sizes and enhance the overall sales process. Your ability to build effective relationships will be crucial in navigating complex sales cycles and achieving your targets. You will also have the opportunity to learn from some of the most successful sales leaders in the software industry, gaining insights that will help you excel in your career.
