Google is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead multidisciplinary AI/ML programs within AI Data operations. You'll manage projects, coordinate stakeholders, and optimize operational processes. This role requires 7+ years of experience in operations management.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with 7 years of experience in operations management or program management. Your expertise includes knowledge of the data labeling industry, best practices, challenges, and quality assurance techniques. You are familiar with AI/ML development life-cycles and understand the critical role of human-annotated data in these processes. You excel in leading multidisciplinary teams and have a proven track record of managing complex projects across various stakeholders and time zones.
Your experience has equipped you with strong skills in data analysis, allowing you to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive operational improvements. You are adept at developing and maintaining documentation, best practices, and playbooks for operations, ensuring that your team operates efficiently and effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable partnering with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and technical writers, to enhance tooling and support for operations programs.
You have additional experience in program management, which complements your operations management background. Your familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their applications in real-world scenarios sets you apart. You are proactive in identifying and resolving bottlenecks and risks, ensuring that projects stay on track and meet their objectives.
As a Senior Operations Manager at Google, you will lead multidisciplinary AI/ML programs within AI Data operations, strengthening cross-Google accountability and execution. You will plan requirements with internal customers and manage projects through their entire life-cycle, coordinating stakeholders across offices, time zones, and hemispheres. Your role will involve managing schedules, operations, and risks to ensure alignment on progress and deadlines.
You will drive program outcomes for a portfolio of programs, focusing on efficiency, quality, and scalability.
