Pinterest is seeking a Tax Analyst II to join their growing Tax team in Dublin. You'll manage direct and indirect tax compliance and support financial statement preparation. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Who you are

You are an enthusiastic and diligent Tax Analyst with experience in managing direct and indirect tax compliance in an international environment. You have a keen eye for detail and are committed to ensuring timely and accurate submission of tax returns and payments. You thrive in a collaborative setting, working closely with external advisers and cross-functional teams to interpret tax advice and its implications for the organization. Your strong analytical skills enable you to support the international accounting team effectively, particularly in the preparation of financial statements.

You possess a solid understanding of transfer pricing documentation and are adept at gathering data for international tax audits. You stay informed about the evolving tax landscape and can assess its impact on the organization. Your ability to communicate complex tax concepts in a concise and understandable manner makes you a valuable asset to your team.

Desirable

Experience with international tax compliance and financial statement preparation is a plus. Familiarity with transfer pricing regulations and audit processes will enhance your candidacy. A proactive approach to monitoring tax developments and their implications for the business is highly desirable.

What you'll do

In this role, you will report to the Tax Director and be responsible for managing direct and indirect tax compliance for the international region. You will ensure that all tax returns and payments are submitted accurately and on time, working closely with external advisers to navigate complex tax regulations. You will support the international accounting team by providing insights on tax aspects of financial statement preparation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

You will assist in the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately captured and presented. Your role will also involve supporting data gathering and preparation for international tax audits, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth audit process. You will monitor the international tax landscape, identifying changes that may impact the organization and advising key stakeholders accordingly.
