Job Description:

Quality Assurance (QA) professionals play a critical role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications. Their responsibilities can vary depending on the team structure, product type, and project requirements, but some core responsibilities include:

Test Planning and Strategy

Develop detailed test plans based on project requirements, product specifications, and business needs.
Define testing strategies for functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
Work closely with product managers and developers to understand product requirements and scope.
Establish testing milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
Test Case Design and Execution

Create detailed, clear, and comprehensive test cases for various types of testing (e.g., functional, integration, system, regression, performance).
Execute test cases, identify defects, and track results through test management tools.
Perform manual testing and automated testing (if applicable) to ensure the product meets quality standards.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage and validate that all aspects of the application are tested.
Bug Identification and Reporting

Identify, document, and report defects and issues found during testing, including detailed steps to reproduce, severity, and impact.
Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes and retest the application once defects are resolved.
Maintain a defect tracking system and ensure all issues are properly classified, prioritized, and addressed.
