Overview

Saronic is seeking a Director of Growth to lead strategic initiatives and capture opportunities with the US Department of Defense. This role requires extensive knowledge of US Navy operations and acquisition pathways.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in growth strategy, particularly within the defense sector, with a focus on maritime operations and unmanned systems. Your experience includes leading teams and shaping long-term capture opportunities, especially with government entities like the United States Department of Defense. You understand the intricacies of military operations and have a passion for enhancing America's maritime capabilities. Your ability to think creatively and navigate complex requirements sets you apart in this field. You are well-versed in the entire PPBE pipeline and have a solid grasp of Major Force Program Funding, particularly in relation to INDOPACIFIC and other Geographic Combatant Command challenges. Your prior military operational and acquisition experience is a significant asset, allowing you to effectively bridge the gap between technical solutions and strategic military needs.

Desirable

Experience with accelerated acquisition pathways and a proven track record of increasing support for company capture efforts will be beneficial. Familiarity with US Navy platforms, requirements, and resourcing will enhance your ability to succeed in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the campaign to develop, shape, propose, and capture programs in unmanned maritime systems. You will have direct access to senior leadership, allowing you to influence strategic decisions and recommend capital deployment to address critical gaps in capabilities. Your responsibilities will include building and implementing a strategic approach to maritime challenges, ensuring that solutions are delivered at the speed of relevance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and develop proposals that align with the Department of Defense's needs. Your leadership will be crucial in building a high-performing team dedicated to achieving excellence in maritime autonomy. You will also be responsible for fostering relationships with key stakeholders within the US Navy and other defense organizations, ensuring that Saronic remains at the forefront of innovation in this sector.
