Who you are

You have a strong background in engineering design, particularly in building design and optimization — your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational processes and improve efficiency. You understand the intricacies of material flow and labor placement, and you are adept at using tools like AutoCAD to bring your designs to life. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with design managers, CAD drafters, and various stakeholders to ensure that projects meet safety, quality, and cost goals. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence drive you to achieve the daily and weekly plans set before you.

Desirable

Experience in logistics or delivery station design is a plus, as is familiarity with construction processes and standards. You are comfortable working with various engineering disciplines and have a knack for problem-solving in complex environments. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams will be key to your success in this role.

What you'll do

As a Design Engineer at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in the expansion of the Last Mile Delivery Station Network in North America. You will be responsible for the design, development, and review of new delivery stations, as well as enhancements to existing stations.
