Amazon is hiring an Engineering Operations Technician to maintain mission-critical technology infrastructure. You'll work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure 99.999% uptime. This position requires hands-on troubleshooting skills and knowledge of data center operations.

Who you are

You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting equipment and are eager to learn about data center operations. Your attention to detail ensures that you maintain high standards of uptime and reliability in mission-critical environments.

You possess a basic understanding of electrical systems, including three-phase electrical systems, UPSs, and generators. You are comfortable working with various mechanical systems such as cooling towers and centrifugal chillers. Your ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers and specialists is one of your strengths.

You are proactive in identifying potential issues and are committed to maintaining the operational integrity of the data center. You understand the importance of safety protocols and are dedicated to following best practices in all your tasks. Desirable

What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical facilities. You will work with electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring that all systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve hands-on work with stand-by diesel generators, UPSs, PDUs, and other critical systems that support data center operations.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers to monitor system performance and address any issues that arise. You will also participate in routine maintenance tasks and assist in the implementation of upgrades and improvements to existing systems.
