What you'll do

As a Staff Engineer on the Experimental Projects team, you will be at the forefront of innovation at Stripe. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for new projects and rapidly building prototypes that can be tested with real users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life, often going from concept to functional prototype in just days. Your work will directly contribute to Stripe's mission of increasing the GDP of the internet, and you will have the autonomy to explore new developer tools and payment experiences.

You will engage in hands-on development, utilizing your technical skills to create solutions that are not only functional but also scalable. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with product managers and designers to refine concepts and ensure that the prototypes you build align with user needs. You will also be involved in the iterative process of testing and validating your solutions, gathering feedback to inform further development.
