SpaceX is hiring a PCB Designer for the Starshield project to create layouts for in-house board designs. You'll collaborate with Hardware Development Engineers and utilize PCB design tools. This role requires expertise in PCB design and relevant software.
You have a strong background in PCB design, with experience in creating layouts for various types of printed circuit boards. Your expertise includes determining layer stackup, performing component package selection, and conducting routing feasibility studies for digital, analog, RF, and power conversion applications. You are proficient in using PCB design tools such as Altium Designer and Eagle, and you understand the intricacies of signal routing and design for test and manufacture guidelines. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with hardware engineers to iterate on designs and ensure the best possible solutions are achieved.
You possess a keen eye for detail and are committed to maintaining high standards in your work. Your ability to create and release documentation for PCB fabrication is complemented by your experience in library creation and maintenance. You are proactive in seeking improvements in design rules and constraints, always aiming to enhance the manufacturability and testability of your designs.
