Job Description

Amazon’s vendor recruitment team (RVR), is looking for a talented manager, to help deliver our vision of on-boarding the brands most desired by EU customers.

You will manage a team of vendor managers, who are responsible for pitching, on-boarding and scaling EU Holdouts and Brand Coverage vendors for the first 12-18 months on Amazon Retail.

Operating in a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment you will need to engage in projects that will drive business growth and help shape the future of Amazon Retail in EU. We expect that you can work independently, think both strategically and tactically, and take full control and responsibility for achieving your goals.

In your day-to-day job, you will be faced with numerous challenges such as:

Key job responsibilities
• You manage a team of Vendor Managers: drive the team performance, monitor individual objectives and evaluate performances.
• Hire and develop talent – not only for RVR, but also for Amazon
• Plan, conduct, deliver and report analyses to understand the performance of new vendors.
• Help to develop and improve recruiting and on-boarding processes, assist in removing any technical blockers and identifying technical improvement areas.
• Deliver complex medium to large scale projects from initiation, through delivery with a program wide EU impact. - Demonstrate a track record of leading teams to meet and exceed business and/or financial KPI.
- 4+ years of retail or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional internal and external audiences
- Ability to work with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels, including C-suite
- Experience with large data sets and insight generation using Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales cycle activities
- Knowledge of EU languages would be an added advantage
- SQL skills would be an added advantage
