Navan is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to join their DACH sales team. You'll be responsible for developing strategies to close new sales opportunities and managing relationships with enterprise clients. This role requires 5+ years of SaaS sales experience and proficiency in Salesforce.
You have over 5 years of consistent sales performance within a SaaS environment, demonstrating your ability to thrive in a competitive landscape. Your experience includes at least 3 years selling into enterprise-sized organizations, where you've navigated complex sales cycles with deal sizes exceeding 1 million in revenue. You are adept at prospecting and self-generating a robust sales pipeline, showcasing your initiative and creativity in identifying new opportunities. Your background in a start-up or fast-moving environment has equipped you with the agility to adapt and innovate in your sales approach. You possess strong knowledge of technology and understand how to sell against deeply ingrained legacy systems, enabling you to effectively change the inertia in corporate travel. Proficiency in Salesforce is essential, as you will manage all sales activities and forecast revenue accurately.
While not mandatory, experience in the corporate travel sector or familiarity with finance and procurement organizations would be advantageous. You are a strategic thinker who can develop champions within large organizations, ensuring successful execution of sales activities. Your ability to present and sell directly to C-level executives across various departments, including HR, Legal, Finance, and Procurement, sets you apart as a candidate.
In this role, you will establish and develop a strategy for identifying and closing net new sales opportunities within your designated territory. You will prospect into targeted strategic accounts, leveraging your sales methodologies to execute on deal strategies effectively. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing in-territory or vertically-focused field marketing campaigns to enhance your outreach. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to lead successful execution of sales activities, including contract negotiation and securing signed contracts. Managing all sales activity and monthly forecasting of revenue in Salesforce will be a critical part of your role, ensuring that you stay on track to meet your targets.
