Job Description

Who you are

You have over 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or partner management — you've successfully built and managed partner networks, ensuring high performance and satisfaction. Your expertise in manufacturing processes, particularly in CNC, Sheet Metal, Injection Molding, Additive, or Finishing, makes you a subject-matter expert in the field. You understand the importance of compliance with standards such as ITAR, JCP, and ISO, and you have a track record of achieving partner success targets. Your leadership skills enable you to mentor and guide regional teams, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices across the organization.

You are adept at developing and executing strategies for recruiting, onboarding, activating, and retaining high-quality partners — you know how to define and enforce category-specific playbooks and processes that drive results. Your analytical mindset allows you to monitor and manage KPIs effectively, ensuring that partner acquisition, activation rates, quality, and retention are consistently met. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with central functions like Operations, Enablement, and Marketing to standardize training and reporting tools.

Desirable

Experience in a similar role within a digital marketplace or manufacturing environment would be a plus. Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and performance metrics will enhance your ability to succeed in this position. A strong network within the manufacturing industry can also be beneficial as you build relationships with partners.

What you'll do

As the Director of Partner Management at Xometry, you will own the partner lifecycle for the assigned manufacturing category across all U.S. regions. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategies that recruit, onboard, activate, and retain high-quality partners. You will define and enforce category-specific playbooks, processes, and standards to ensure compliance and maintain high partner satisfaction. Monitoring and managing KPIs will be crucial, as you will track partner acquisition, activation rates, quality, and retention metrics.

You will collaborate with central functions such as Operations, Enablement, and Marketing to standardize training, tools, and reporting, ensuring that all regional pods under your category achieve partner success targets. Mentoring and guiding regional teams will be a key aspect of your role, as you foster knowledge sharing and best practices across the organization. Additionally, you will act as a subject-matter expert on category-specific manufacturing processes, trends, and market dynamics, providing insights that drive strategic decisions.

What we offer

At Xometry, you will be part of a dynamic team that is transforming the manufacturing industry through innovative solutions. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will have the chance to make a significant impact on the success of our partner network and contribute to the overall mission of connecting people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life. Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing and enjoy a collaborative work environment that values your expertise and contributions.
