Parker’s mission is simple but ambitious: to increase the number of financially independent people. We believe the best way to achieve this is by giving independent business owners the financial tools they need to scale profitably.
Our core product combines a virtual corporate card with dynamic spending limits and profitability-focused software tooling—empowering eCommerce merchants to grow faster while staying in control of their margins.
We’ve raised over $180M in equity and debt from world-class investors, including Valar Ventures, Y Combinator, SVB, and notable founders such as Solomon Hykes (Docker), Paul Buchheit (Gmail), Paul Graham (Y Combinator), and Robert Leshner (Compound). We’re a Series B fintech scaling rapidly, with strong product-market fit and accelerating demand.
Parker is hiring a Growth Engineer (Full-Stack) to build, test, and iterate on features that directly impact user acquisition, activation, and retention. You’ll work across the stack—owning frontend experiences in React/TypeScript and backend integrations in Node.js—to optimize the entire customer journey. You’ll collaborate closely with design, marketing, data, and product to ship experiments that drive growth and help thousands of eCommerce merchants scale profitably.
Design, develop, and iterate on user-facing growth experiments that improve onboarding, activation, and retention across Parker’s web app and marketing funnels.
Build and optimize full-stack experiences using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL.
Partner with product and marketing teams to instrument analytics, A/B tests, and feature flagging systems to measure experiment performance.
Collaborate with backend and infrastructure engineers to integrate growth features with Parker’s payments and analytics systems.
Improve site and app performance, reduce latency, and increase conversion rates through data-driven optimization.
Own technical implementation for growth initiatives, balancing speed with scalability and security.
Contribute to internal tooling and automation that accelerate the growth team’s ability to experiment and learn.
4+ years of experience building frontend and full-stack web applications using modern technologies (React, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong product mindset—able to balance engineering excellence with delivering measurable business impact.
Experience running A/B tests, instrumentation, and analytics integration (Amplitude, Segment, Mixpanel, etc.).
Proven ability to design, build, and deploy scalable, data-driven applications from scratch.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and design.
A creative, growth-minded engineer who enjoys solving open-ended problems that directly move company metrics.
Passionate about user experience, experimentation, and rapid iteration.
A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and can independently drive projects from idea to impact.
Curious and data-driven, always seeking new ways to optimize systems and user engagement.
Excited by fintech and empowering entrepreneurs through smarter financial tools.
Experience in fintech, payments, or eCommerce infrastructure.
Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and data pipelines.
Previous experience at high-growth startups or growth-focused teams.
Contributions to open-source growth, analytics, or frontend tools.
