Handshake is seeking First-Line Supervisors of Mechanics, Installers, and Repairers to contribute to an AI research project. You'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and provide structured feedback. No AI experience is required for this contract position.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in mechanics, installation, or repair work. Your background equips you with the necessary context to evaluate and train AI models effectively. You are comfortable working independently and can manage your time flexibly, averaging 5-20 hours per week. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to deliver clear and structured feedback that enhances AI understanding of workplace tasks and language. You are open to learning new skills and adapting to the evolving demands of AI applications in your field. You understand the importance of accuracy and detail in your evaluations, ensuring that the AI models receive high-quality feedback.
In this role, you will participate in an hourly, temporary AI research project, contributing your expertise to evaluate AI models related to your field. You will develop prompts that reflect your professional experience and assess the AI's responses to ensure they align with real-world tasks.
