Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager in Athens to drive client relationships in the gaming industry. You'll leverage your extensive experience in advertising sales and marketing to deliver innovative solutions. This role requires strong communication skills and a deep understanding of client needs.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 11 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, media, or working with advertising agencies. Your background includes experience in Sales and Forecasting, and you possess the ability to communicate fluently in English to support client relationship management in the gaming sector. You bring a wealth of knowledge in advertising and consultative sales, with a preference for candidates who have 8 years of experience or more in these areas, or 6 years with an advanced degree. Your experience in the Gaming industry is a significant asset, allowing you to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a customer engagement strategy. You leverage your business acumen to strategically assess and help solve client needs, ensuring that businesses of all shapes and sizes can rely on Google’s unparalleled advertising solutions to grow in today's dynamic marketing environment.

What you'll do

As an Industry Manager at Google, you will be expected to build trusted relationships with customers, uncovering their business needs and translating them into powerful solutions to achieve their most ambitious goals. You will advocate for digital media and act as a thought leader at industry conferences and workshops, providing leadership, decision-making frameworks, analytic and measurement guidance, and business judgment to drive projects and deliver business growth to customers. You will collaborate with sellers to shape the future of advertising in the AI-era, making a real impact on the millions of companies and billions of users that trust Google with their most important goals. Your role will involve understanding the engaged landscape, client products, and key business challenges and opportunities that affect the client's growth. You will be responsible for driving innovative and strategic ways to consistently deliver extraordinary and incremental outcomes for both Google and your customers.
