Overview

Relativity is seeking a Senior RF Development Engineer to contribute to the development of the Terran R rocket. You'll work on the avionics systems that control major electrical systems on the vehicle. This role requires expertise in RF development and engineering.

You have a strong background in RF engineering, with experience in designing and developing RF systems for aerospace applications. Your expertise includes working with various RF components and systems, ensuring they meet stringent performance and reliability standards. You thrive in collaborative environments, where you can work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for innovation, always looking for ways to improve existing systems and processes. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, allowing you to tackle issues that arise during the development lifecycle effectively. You understand the importance of documentation and compliance in aerospace engineering, ensuring that all designs and processes adhere to industry regulations.

Desirable

Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) technologies or similar RF systems would be a plus. Familiarity with simulation tools for RF design and analysis is also desirable. A background in avionics or aerospace systems will enhance your candidacy, as will any experience with testing and validation of RF systems in a laboratory or field environment.

What you'll do

As a Senior RF Development Engineer at Relativity, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of RF systems for the Terran R rocket. You will collaborate with the avionics team to ensure that all RF components integrate seamlessly with the vehicle's systems. Your role will involve conducting simulations and analyses to validate RF performance, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise during testing. You will also be involved in the documentation of design specifications and test results, ensuring that all work complies with aerospace standards. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Terran R vehicle, as you help to create a reliable and efficient RF system that meets the needs of our customers.
