Your Role

  • Design and assemble source data sets for the systems and processes used in the control framework related to portfolio and trading management
  • Create functional requirements, specifications, and designs for software solutions that are used in these control processes
  • Perform quantitative analysis on and calculate inputs into the control processes
  • Partnering with software engineers to develop software, as well as perform your own engineering to craft solutions
  • Coordinate data and system interrelationships with other teams, departments and external parties
  • Function as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions

What You’ll Bring

  • B.A. or B.S (Math, Science, and Finance focuses helpful) and a minimum of 3-6 years professional experience
  • Knowledge of both investment management industry and business process
  • Strong finance fundamentals and knowledge of financial markets
  • Thorough understanding of computer programming and data manipulation, programming skills are helpful
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, the Bloomberg Terminal, and Tableau
  • Experience with investment guideline monitoring tools and systems for monitoring position limits is a significant plus

  • Intelligent, energetic and goal-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and exercise sound judgment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be able to confidently collaborate with various departments within the firm
  • A self-starter with the ability to follow through and complete tasks in a highly intellectual, collaborative environment
  • Digest complex concepts into clear and concise recommendations and actions
  • Enjoy solving complex problems and taking on challenges
  • Excited by continuous improvements and learning
