Google is seeking a Senior Risk Manager for their Global Credit team to manage credit risk exposure across all product areas. You'll leverage your expertise in SQL and project management to enhance credit processes. This role requires 7+ years of experience in credit risk management.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Operations, or equivalent practical experience. With at least 7 years of experience in management consulting or an operations-related function, you bring a wealth of knowledge to the table. If you hold an advanced degree in business, accounting, or finance, your experience requirement is reduced to 5 years. You possess a strong background in credit risk management, ideally within a public accounting or multi-national company setting. Your qualifications may include an MBA, and certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt or Project Management Professional (PMP). You excel in leading process improvement projects and have a proven track record of influencing and managing stakeholder relationships. Your data analysis skills are top-notch, with experience applying statistical methods, SQL, and dashboard designs. You are adept at managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, showcasing excellent project management skills.
As part of the Cash and Accounts Receivable Management (CARMA) team, you will manage Google's order to cash processes globally across all product areas, including Ads, Cloud, and Hardware. Your role will be pivotal in powering Google's growth agenda by creating innovative ways to manage billing and payment transactions. You will focus on making processes more efficient and scalable while minimizing operational risk. In the Global Credit team, you will evaluate customers' ability and capacity to pay for goods and services purchased, working diligently to minimize losses due to defaults. You will partner with various stakeholders, including Collections, Sales, Engineering, and other Finance organizations, to deliver credit processes and implement enhanced policies, processes, and systems for managing Google’s credit risk globally. Your expertise in cloud-specific terminology and technology will be essential as you navigate market trends such as multi-cloud and AI/ML. You will lead initiatives that integrate Google acquisitions and new products, ensuring seamless connections with new payments and invoicing partners.
