Flex is seeking a Senior Staff Analytics Engineer to develop data products and solutions that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions. You'll leverage your technical skills in SQL and Python to enhance data accessibility and quality. This role requires strong experience in data modeling and analysis.
You have 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, with a strong background in data modeling and data analysis — you've successfully developed data products that meet business needs and enhance decision-making processes. Your technical skills in SQL and Python are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across various teams, ensuring that data solutions align with company objectives. You understand the importance of data quality and structure, and you are committed to setting high standards for analytics outcomes. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with analysts, engineers, and product managers to define requirements and deliver impactful data solutions. You are passionate about fostering a data-driven culture within the organization, influencing processes and standards that enhance data accessibility and usability.
In this role, you will lead the development of data models that transform and expose data to stakeholders across Flex — your expertise will enable you to collect business requirements and design data solutions that drive successful analytics outcomes. You will set company-wide standards for data structure and quality, ensuring that all data products meet the highest expectations. You will collaborate with various teams to understand their data needs and provide them with the tools and insights necessary for informed decision-making. Your contributions will help shape Flex's data culture, as you influence processes and advocate for best practices in data management. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles. As part of the broader Data team, you will report to the Senior Director of Analytics Engineering and support multiple areas across the company, making a significant impact on Flex's mission to empower renters.
