Adyen is seeking a Manager of Account Management to lead a new team in Sydney focused on delivering exceptional experiences for mid-sized merchants. This role involves building relationships, driving commercial growth, and implementing a pooled account management model.

You have a proven track record in account management, with experience leading teams and driving growth in a fast-paced environment. Your strategic mindset allows you to design and implement effective account management models that enhance client relationships and ensure account health. You excel in building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and proactively identifying growth opportunities. Your leadership style is hands-on, and you are comfortable setting a vision and performance standards for your team. You are motivated by the challenge of tackling unique technical challenges and are committed to delivering innovative solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions.

Desirable

Experience in the financial technology sector or with payment solutions is a plus. Familiarity with international payments, fraud management, and point-of-sale solutions will help you excel in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning new skills that will benefit your team and clients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will establish and lead the new Pooled Account Management team in Sydney, focusing on delivering exceptional experiences to a portfolio of mid-sized, fast-growth merchants. You will design and implement a pooled account management model that emphasizes efficiency and proactive engagement. Your responsibilities will include driving commercial growth by building strong relationships with merchants and consulting with key stakeholders to accelerate product adoption. You will manage time-sensitive, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring that your team meets performance standards while identifying growth opportunities across various solutions. As the team scales, you will play a key role in driving merchant growth and retention, setting the vision and operating model for your team.
