What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Marketplace Growth team, you will be responsible for transforming ideas into reality by rapidly prototyping and iterating on high-impact experiences. You will take ownership of the systems that power Zocdoc's user acquisition and engagement, ensuring that top-of-funnel experiences are stable and effective. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop features that enhance the patient experience. You will also be involved in the technical decision-making process, helping to shape the architecture and design of the systems you work on. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and best practices, ensuring that Zocdoc remains at the forefront of healthcare technology. You will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the engineering team’s processes and practices.
