Tanium is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive lead generation and support the sales team. You'll utilize tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Navigator to schedule qualified meetings and collaborate with various teams. You are a motivated individual with a bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, eager to kickstart your career in technology sales. As a Sales Development Representative at Tanium, you will be responsible for scheduling highly qualified meetings for the field sales team using a defined sales methodology. You will manage lead generation and follow-up activities on inbound leads within your territory, ensuring that you are effectively nurturing potential clients.
You will leverage world-class tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, and LinkedIn Navigator to drive the biggest impact across your territory. Collaborating with sales, marketing, partners, and product teams, you will contribute to messaging, field events, and defined campaigns that resonate with your audience.
Through regular training and enablement, you will build a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and current trends in the marketplace. You will work closely with your leadership team to develop strong communication skills and learn how to deliver effective reporting back to the business.
Meeting or exceeding minimum weekly activity metrics—calls, emails, conversations, and meetings—will be a key part of your role. You will work in a highly collaborative environment, closely partnering with your team and business partners to achieve shared goals.
