Amazon is hiring an Enterprise Support Manager to lead technical support for large public sector enterprises transitioning to the cloud. You'll work closely with top-tier customers and manage a team of Cloud Operations Architects. This role requires strong management and customer-facing skills, particularly in AWS.
You have a strong background in technical leadership, with experience in managing customer relationships and navigating the complexities of cloud computing. Your ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges has been demonstrated through your work with large enterprises. You possess excellent management skills, enabling you to lead a team effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction. Your experience in the software development life-cycle and operations management equips you to support critical systems in the cloud. You are adept at driving discussions with senior personnel, focusing on incidents, trade-offs, best practices, and risk management. You understand the efficiencies and cost savings that cloud solutions can provide, and you are passionate about helping customers leverage these benefits.
Experience in the public sector or with large enterprise customers is a plus. Familiarity with operational challenges in cloud computing will enhance your ability to support our customers effectively. A background in technical account management or cloud operations will also be beneficial.
In this role, you will lead a team of Cloud Operations Architects and Technical Account Managers, serving as the primary operational point of contact for your customers. You will help plan, review, and oversee the ongoing operations of business-critical applications, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. Your strategic insights will guide the execution of a plan to build mind-share and broad use of Amazon Web Services among our largest customers. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership to ensure the successful launch and operation of AWS’s largest application workloads. Leading operations reviews will be a key responsibility, as you work to identify areas for improvement and drive the best results for our customers. You will also be involved in shaping the strategy for customer engagement, focusing on building strong relationships and understanding their unique needs.
