Squarespace is seeking a Business Development Manager to optimize and grow their Domains & Email commercial partnerships. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic growth opportunities. This role requires strong relationship management skills and experience in business development.
You have a strong background in business development, ideally with experience in the technology or digital services sector. You understand the importance of building and maintaining relationships with partners and have a knack for identifying growth opportunities. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, product, design, engineering, and marketing, to ensure alignment and execution of partnerships. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey market opportunities and partner feedback to internal teams. You are proactive in resolving business and technical issues, serving as an advocate for your partners. You have a strategic mindset, capable of renegotiating contracts and optimizing existing partnerships for favorable outcomes.
In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and growing Squarespace's Domains & Email commercial partnerships. You will work closely with the Domains & Email organization to ensure strategic alignment and execution of partnerships. Your day-to-day will involve maintaining direct and active relationships with partners, proactively resolving any business and technical issues that arise. You will communicate market opportunities and partner feedback to inform the product roadmap and prioritization. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to launch, maintain, and grow product partnerships, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on goals and expectations. You will also be tasked with renegotiating existing contracts to find optimization paths and ensuring favorable commercial outcomes in new partnerships.
