Who you are

You hold a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field, and you have over 3 years of industry experience specifically in identify graph, ID mapping, and cross-device mapping within the digital advertising sector. Your expertise includes generating mapping and profiles under large-scale data conditions, showcasing your ability to handle complex datasets effectively.

You are proficient in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. Your strong ownership and collaboration skills enable you to work independently while also partnering effectively with product stakeholders and technical teams.

Desirable

Experience with large-scale data processing and a solid understanding of machine learning algorithms will set you apart. Familiarity with advertising technologies and a keen interest in optimizing campaign performance through data-driven insights will enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Appier, you will be a key player in the Advertising Cloud Optimization team, focusing on the development of core machine learning algorithms that drive campaign efficiency and maximize advertiser ROI. You will leverage scientific methods to build identify graphs and identify high-value users, continuously driving online experiments to improve ROAS.

You will own projects independently, collaborating closely with product stakeholders, backend, and frontend teams to provide measurement solutions that meet customer needs. Your role will involve analyzing large datasets to extract actionable insights and improve the effectiveness of advertising strategies.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models that enhance the performance of Appier’s programmatic advertising platform, which operates at a massive scale, handling millions of queries per second. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of advertising campaigns and the overall success of the platform.
