Overview

Xometry is seeking a Senior Director of Sales for the Public Sector to drive revenue growth and expand their presence within U.S. government agencies and educational institutions. This leadership role requires a strong background in public sector sales and strategic planning.

Who you are

You have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, particularly within the public sector, with at least 10 years of experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams. Your deep understanding of public sector procurement processes allows you to navigate complex regulatory environments effectively. You are strategic and results-driven, with a history of developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies that align with business objectives. You excel in identifying and securing large contracts with government entities and educational institutions, demonstrating your ability to drive significant revenue growth. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to articulate value propositions clearly to diverse stakeholders. You are a collaborative leader who fosters teamwork and motivates your team to achieve ambitious goals.

Desirable

Experience in the manufacturing sector or a related field is a plus, as is familiarity with digital marketplaces. A strong network within federal, state, and local government agencies will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing market conditions while maintaining focus on long-term objectives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and execute the overarching sales strategy for the Public Sector, ensuring alignment with Xometry's overall business objectives and growth targets. You will identify, pursue, and secure large, strategic contracts with federal, state, and local government entities, as well as educational institutions. Your leadership will be critical in driving revenue growth and expanding Xometry's footprint within the Public Sector. You will act as a key liaison between the Public Sector team and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments. You will mentor and guide your sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. Additionally, you will analyze market trends and customer needs to inform your sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
