High-Level Objective

To deliver an exceptional Homeowner and resident experience from listing to love, by performing all leasing activities including resident application processing, lease execution and building and maintaining a positive homeowner relationship. You will give proactive Homeowner updates on resident interest, application statuses, market conditions, and rental pricing in order to reduce vacancy while placing the highest quality residents in their homes to reduce bad debt/eviction risk for the homeowner and Belong.

The Opportunity

If you're a collaborative problem solver who takes pride in fostering great resident and homeowner relationships, step into this critical role as a Leasing Advisor. Managing a portfolio of 20+ homes, you'll be responsible for driving lease execution by following up with applicants, overseeing the application process, and signing leases.
You will drive positive experiences for homeowners in your portfolio through weekly updates reviewing their homes interest, lead feedback, and number of applications, all while proposing strategies for optimizing interest with the goal of getting their home leased quickly to reduce vacancy. 
Your member-obsessed mindset and willingness to own end-to-end will guide you in the win-win partnership of reducing vacancy for our homeowner at the highest price the market will enable for qualified residents.

Responsibilities:Application Processing: Determine prospective tenants leasing eligibility through income verification, credit qualification, landlord references and resident interviews.

Achieving Leasing Goals: Execute leases to ensure the satisfaction of the resident, homeowner, and Belong.

Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends using market knowledge and personal portfolio, to create competitive strategies for your homes. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other teams to ensure a smooth transition for both homeowners and future residents.

Homeowner & Applicants Satisfaction: Drive a positive homeowner experience through proactive communication, knowledgeable updates, and concise strategies. 

Compliance Assurance: Ensure all operations adhere to industry standards, local laws, and company ethics, upholding Belong’s commitment to responsible business practices.


Qualifications

Background: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in sales, negotiation, or customer-facing roles. 

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Technical Proficiency: Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, and Intercom is preferred.

Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in real estate, property management, or residential construction is highly advantageous but not required.

Key Performance indicators and what good looks like: Customer Satisfaction: Maintaining a CSAT score of 75+ by driving positive customer feedback, while utilizing poor reviews to help find areas of improvement.

Homes Loved: Closely manage a portfolio of ~25 active listings to ensure healthy interest and to reach your personal love goal. 

Communication: Maintain an SLA of 95%+ to ensure quick responses and results, furthering customer satisfaction. 

Team Performance: Regular team reviews and one-on-ones to ensure you are meeting your individual and collective team targets.
