Handshake is seeking Radiologists to serve as AI Trainers for a temporary research project. You'll leverage your expertise to evaluate AI models and provide feedback, contributing to advancements in AI applications in radiology. No prior AI experience is required.
You are a Radiologist with over 4 years of experience in performing, interpreting, or reviewing outcomes of various imaging studies such as MRI, CT, PET, ultrasound, or nuclear medicine. You have a strong background in preparing comprehensive interpretive reports of imaging findings and communicating diagnostic information effectively to referring physicians, patients, or families. Your experience includes coordinating radiologic services with other medical departments and ensuring that quality control, safety, and radiation protection standards are upheld. You are also skilled in instructing radiologic staff in desired techniques and maintaining your continuing education.
In this role, you will contribute to an hourly, temporary AI research project by leveraging your professional experience to evaluate AI models in your field. You will assess content related to your work and deliver clear, structured feedback that strengthens the model’s understanding of radiology tasks and language. The position is remote and asynchronous, allowing you to work independently from anywhere in the United States. You will develop prompts for AI models that reflect your field and evaluate their responses, learning new skills along the way. Your placement in projects will depend on availability, and you can expect flexible hours averaging between 5 to 20 hours per week.
