You will play a vital role in supporting the development of the automation solutions that power Amazon's retail operations around the world. You will work closely with our global R&D teams to provide insightful financial analysis, budgeting, and controllership support that enables us to tackle big challenges and deliver breakthrough innovations.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, strongly motivated and hands-on Finance Professional with interest in manufacturing processes and cost accounting.
Key job responsibilities
- Leverage your solid financial expertise and business acumen to independently build robust financial models and analyses, drawing insightful conclusions and making recommendations that drive tangible results and operational improvements.
- Oversee the development and continuous innovation of financial reviews, forecasting, and reporting models, effectively communicating findings to finance and operations partners.
- Identify and resolve complex data integrity issues, collaborating closely with stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of data quality.
- Proactively recognize the need for enhanced controls to address business, industry, policy or regulatory risks, and propose innovative control solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of how data flows through our financial platforms, and know the right data to use for analysis, and establish a source of truth.
- Streamline and centralize process improvement and reporting initiatives to empower business partners and customers to make timely, data-driven decisions.
- Provide hands-on support for month-end and year-end financial closures and audits.

The MSP Hamme finance team is responsible for financial reporting, planning, and business partnering on research & development and manufacturing activities of the MSP Hamme Operations team. The team is focusing on process improvement and reporting to support the business.- Significant experience with accounting and financial reporting, preferably gained within a Big Four firm and / or a multinational organization;
- Excellent communication skills with fluent English;
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and reporting tools (examples: Cognos, Hyperion)- Good knowledge of USGAAP, BEGAAP or other accounting frameworks;
- Proficient Microsoft Excel user;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and understanding of manufacturing processes and able to conduct comprehensive analysis of production costs, material consumption, and inventory levels;
- Relevant work experience in SAP (FI & Production Modules).
