Clever is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build platforms that empower data-driven decision-making for schools and educators. You'll work with Java and Python to enhance internal products and analytics tools. This role requires experience in software development and a passion for education technology.
You have a solid background in software engineering, with experience in designing and building scalable platforms that support data-driven organizations. You understand the importance of data in decision-making and are eager to empower both internal teams and external customers with effective tools. As a Software Engineer on the Data Engineering and Internal Products (DEIP) team, you will be responsible for designing and building services that empower Clever's customers and internal teams. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. Your work will involve developing internal products that streamline operations and enhance productivity for Clever employees. You will also contribute to external analytics products that help schools and educators leverage data effectively. Your role will require you to write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting to address any issues that arise in production environments. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge with the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
