HealthLeap is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build the product that clinicians rely on every morning. You'll work with technologies like JavaScript, React, and Node.js to create interfaces and backend services. This position requires experience in building systems that real users depend on.
You have experience as a Full Stack Engineer, having built systems that real users depend on. You understand the importance of shipping features that matter and are energized by tackling hard problems, such as messy data and complex permissions. You thrive in environments where your work has a direct impact on people's lives, particularly in the healthcare sector. You are comfortable working with both frontend and backend technologies, and you have a strong grasp of how to integrate various systems effectively. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with clinicians and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional software solutions.
Experience with AI technologies is a plus, as HealthLeap is focused on applying frontier AI to real-world healthcare challenges. Familiarity with electronic health record systems or healthcare data management can also be beneficial. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your contributions to the team.
In this role, you will build the product that clinicians rely on every morning. Your primary responsibility will be to develop HealthLeap's dashboard, which is the first thing dietitians open at Cedars-Sinai and Penn Medicine. You will create interfaces that help clinicians prioritize patients and surface the right clinical data, enabling them to act quickly. You will also work on the backend services that power these interfaces, ensuring that the system is robust and scalable. You will collaborate with a small team of engineers and product managers to iterate on features based on user feedback and clinical needs. Your work will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and streamlining healthcare processes.
HealthLeap offers a competitive base salary of $275,000 along with meaningful equity in an early-stage company. We cover 100% of healthcare premiums and provide unlimited PTO with a recommended minimum of 20 days. You will also benefit from a 401(k) plan with a 4% match. We provide the necessary equipment for your home office, including a laptop and a budget for additional needs. Our San Francisco office is hybrid-friendly, with in-office work expected on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
