SageSure is seeking a Premium Accountant to manage daily and monthly reconciliations of premium records and bank activities. This role requires strong accounting and banking knowledge, with responsibilities including journal entries and financial reporting.
You have a solid background in accounting, with experience in preparing daily and monthly reconciliations of premium records and bank activities. Your attention to detail and organizational skills are exceptional, allowing you to manage complex financial data effectively. Your knowledge of accounting principles and banking processes is extensive, enabling you to handle journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial discrepancies with ease. Experience with invoicing policies and processing premium payments is a plus. Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis will help you excel in this role. You are proactive in researching and resolving aged receivables, ensuring that all financial discrepancies are addressed promptly. Your ability to analyze account information and trends will contribute to the preparation of special financial reports, providing valuable insights to the team.
As a Premium Accountant at SageSure, you will be responsible for preparing daily journal entries to record exceptions, policy premiums, and bank activity. You will conduct daily bank reconciliation preparations, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately reflected in the company's records. Your role will involve researching daily exceptions and making recommendations for corrective actions, documenting your findings and following through to completion. You will process and reconcile premium receipts, including ACH, credit card, and lockbox transactions, ensuring that all payments are recorded accurately. Additionally, you will review and research aged receivables that are collectible, reporting payments in accordance with the company’s escheatment and unclaimed property process.
You will collaborate with other team members to ensure that all financial operations run smoothly, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Your analytical skills will be essential in preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the company's financial data, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
