Samsara is hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive business growth in the public sector. You'll engage with mid-sized customers to leverage IoT data for operational improvements. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are passionate about leveraging IoT solutions to drive business outcomes. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with mid-sized customers. Your experience includes engaging with executives and CXOs, navigating complex sales processes, and delivering impactful presentations. You are results-oriented and motivated by the opportunity to make a real-world impact through technology. You understand the importance of customer success and are committed to ensuring that clients realize the full benefits of the solutions you provide.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales to mid-sized public sector customers, focusing on the benefits of Samsara's Connected Operations™ Cloud. You will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how IoT data can transform their operations. Your typical sales will range from $20k to $250k, requiring you to manage proof of concepts and negotiate pricing with multiple stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product development and that clients receive the support they need throughout the sales process. You will also be expected to develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, utilizing CRM tools to track progress and forecast sales accurately.
