Who you are

You have completed a technical vocational training and possess the necessary qualifications to perform electrical work. Ideally, you have experience as a specialist in building or supply technology, and you are eager to take on new challenges while getting to know the entire site. You are proficient in common IT applications and have excellent German language skills, both written and spoken. You are willing to work in a two-shift operation, demonstrating your flexibility and commitment to the role.

What you'll do

As a Techniker Gebäudetechnik, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the entire building at our Barleben location near Magdeburg. Your technical expertise and ideas will contribute to the optimal development of the site, working collaboratively with the team on efficient and sustainable technical solutions. You will operate, maintain, and service complex technical systems and facilities, ensuring that legally mandated inspections are conducted on time and that any identified deficiencies are rectified. You will guarantee the uninterrupted operation of all technical systems, safety, and fire protection facilities while adhering to relevant regulations. Additionally, you will inspect technical and safety-related facilities and maintain and update the documentation of the systems. Coordination and communication with external service providers and internal departments will also be part of your responsibilities, as well as optimizing operational and energy costs through sustainable energy management. You will conduct fault analyses and repair work as necessary.
