Anthropic is seeking a Finance Variable Compensation Lead to shape compensation strategies for the Sales organization. You'll collaborate with finance and sales leaders to design incentive structures that align with business goals. This role requires strategic finance expertise and operational excellence.
You have a strong background in finance, particularly in variable compensation strategies, and understand how to align compensation with business objectives. You are skilled in collaborating with senior leaders across finance, revops, and sales to design effective incentive compensation structures. Your experience allows you to establish competitive incentives that attract top talent and support organizational growth.
You possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to develop strategic frameworks and ensure accurate reporting for compensation plans. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of tracking data to validate payouts and assess the effectiveness of compensation strategies. Your ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and compensation partners is key to gaining alignment on compensation plans.

As the Finance Variable Compensation Lead, you will design comprehensive variable compensation strategies that align with Anthropic's business objectives and values. You will work closely with the go-to-market Finance team and collaborate with senior leaders to ensure that compensation structures incentivize desired seller behaviors.
Your role will involve developing strategic frameworks that guide the compensation planning process. You will partner with executive leadership and revops compensation partners to gain alignment on compensation plans, ensuring they are competitive and effective in attracting top talent.
You will also collaborate with Ops teams to ensure accurate reporting is in place to validate payouts and track the necessary data to understand the effectiveness of the compensation plans. Your insights will help refine these plans over time, ensuring they remain aligned with the company's growth trajectory.
In this strategic position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the compensation strategy for the Sales organization, directly impacting the company's ability to attract and retain top talent. You will be responsible for communicating compensation strategies to stakeholders and ensuring that all team members understand the rationale behind the compensation structures.
