Instacart is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer II to transform the grocery industry through innovative machine learning solutions. You'll work with Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch to develop models that enhance customer experiences. This position requires significant experience in machine learning and data analysis.
You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning and data science, with a strong foundation in developing and deploying machine learning models. Your expertise in Python allows you to build robust data pipelines and implement complex algorithms effectively. You are familiar with TensorFlow and PyTorch, enabling you to leverage these frameworks for model training and evaluation. Your experience with SQL helps you manage and query large datasets efficiently, ensuring data quality and integrity in your projects. You understand the importance of collaboration and communication, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to align machine learning initiatives with business goals. You are adaptable and eager to learn, ready to tackle the unique challenges presented by the grocery industry.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as it will help you deploy machine learning solutions at scale. Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making will enhance your contributions to the marketing team. A background in marketing analytics or customer behavior modeling will be beneficial in understanding the impact of your work on user engagement and satisfaction.
