Apple is seeking a visionOS, Spatial Platform Engineer to build foundational frameworks and APIs for user experiences. You'll work with C, C++, Java, and Swift in Boulder, Colorado. This role requires strong programming skills and an interest in system architecture.
You have a strong programming background with experience in C, C++, Java, and Swift — you enjoy creating foundational frameworks and APIs that enhance user experiences. You are comfortable participating in architecture discussions and taking ownership of specific problem areas, articulating design choices, and delivering highly optimized code in performance-critical environments. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with other engineers to develop system frameworks and interfaces that integrate seamlessly into a larger code base.
You possess a keen interest in building innovative solutions that surprise and delight users — your passion for technology drives you to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of writing clean, maintainable code that adheres to best practices. Experience with ARKit or similar frameworks would be a plus, as would familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
