Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technology business or business development at a Business-to-Business (B2B) software company.
  • Experience in developing cloud or Information Technology (IT) solutions.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in Japanese with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, investigative tools, or applications software in the retail and Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Experience in working on commercial and legal agreements with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Experience managing partners in implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.

In this role, you will inspire customers to transform and evolve their business through the use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers, and software infrastructure. You will help businesses use technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners. You will guide the account team, with the focus to develop relationships across the company and continue the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

  • Build executive relationships with enterprise customers, influence direction, and serve as a business partner.
  • Negotiate and manage entire cycles, presenting to C-level executives in corporate and global customers.
  • Guide account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities and work with customer engineers and Google partners, creating new opportunities.
  • Understand each customer’s technology infrastructure, growth plans, business motivators, technology strategy, and engaged landscape.
  • Motivate business development, and forecast and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
