Overview

Yext is seeking a Senior Manager of Customer Success to lead a team focused on driving customer retention and measurable business outcomes. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Services.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in customer success or a related field, demonstrating a strong ability to lead teams and drive customer engagement. Your expertise in managing key performance indicators (KPIs) allows you to set and achieve high-level retention goals effectively. You are skilled in fostering cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Sales, Support, and Services, ensuring that customer needs are met holistically. You stay ahead of industry trends and tailor engagements to resonate with clients, using their language to enhance communication and understanding. Your leadership style emphasizes developing thought leaders within your team, equipping them with the tools and knowledge necessary for success. You are proactive in identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies, ensuring that your team is prepared to handle challenges as they arise.

Desirable

Experience in a technology-driven environment is a plus, as is familiarity with AI-driven platforms and brand visibility solutions. A background in sales forecasting and risk management will further enhance your ability to contribute to the team's success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of Customer Success Managers (CSMs) focused on driving measurable business outcomes for enterprise clients. You will be responsible for setting high-level retention goals and managing the KPIs that track your team's performance. Your role will involve collaborating closely with Sales leadership to enhance forecasting accuracy and proactively identify potential risks to customer satisfaction. You will implement strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring that your team is equipped to handle any challenges that arise. Additionally, you will drive CSM enablement, ensuring that all presentations and engagements are tailored to be industry-specific and client-centric. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement within your team, encouraging innovative approaches to customer engagement and success. Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping the team's strategy and execution, ultimately contributing to Yext's mission of enhancing brand visibility across digital channels.
