Appian is seeking a Director of Solutions Consulting to lead technical sales activities in Northern Europe. You'll work closely with the Regional Sales VP to execute sales strategies and coach your team. This role requires strong leadership and a commitment to excellence.
You have a proven track record in technical sales and consulting, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions to clients. Your leadership style is collaborative, and you thrive in environments where you can coach and develop your team to achieve their best. You are enthusiastic about driving continuous process improvements and innovation within your team, ensuring that world-class standards are met consistently. You are comfortable working in a hybrid model, balancing time between the office and remote work.
Experience in the software industry, particularly in solutions consulting or technical sales, is highly desirable. Familiarity with Appian's products and services will give you an edge in understanding client needs and proposing effective solutions. You are adept at managing multiple priorities and can navigate complex sales cycles with ease.
As the Director of Solutions Consulting, you will lead the technical sales activities within the Northern Europe region, working closely with the Area Vice President of EMEA to execute the sales strategy. You will act as a player/coach, performing customer-facing executive sponsor duties to promote the business value of Appian's products. Your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of the Solutions Consulting team, ensuring effective resource allocation on accounts, and coaching your direct reports to success. You will lead efforts to deliver all technical resources into sales campaigns, assist in the production of RFPs and proposals, and design high-quality technical Proof of Concepts that showcase the value of our solutions.
