Job Description

Lead the vision and strategic direction of Amazon's global partner ecosystem by spearheading the development of our next-generation partner account platform. In this pivotal role, you'll shape the technical foundation that enables seamless integration across Amazon's diverse business lines, impacting millions of partners worldwide and driving multi-billion dollar revenue streams.

We are looking for someone with:
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, distributed systems projects
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, API design, and security protocols
- Experience with identity management systems and authorization frameworks
- Strong technical writing and communication skills, able to influence senior stakeholders






Key job responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term technical vision for Amazon's Partner account infrastructure
- Lead high-impact, cross-organizational initiatives to revolutionize partner onboarding and program adoption
- Architect complex systems that enable seamless integration across diverse Amazon business units
- Develop and implement advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to optimize the partner ecosystem
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align technical strategy with business goals
- Mentor product and engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence

A day in the life
As a Principal Technical Product Manager, you'll be at the forefront of solving complex, ecosystem-wide challenges. You'll collaborate with C-level executives and senior leaders across Amazon to define the long-term technical strategy for Partner engagement. Your expertise will guide critical decisions on system architecture, data models, and integration patterns that will shape Partner experiences for years to come.

About the team
Our team is responsible for the core infrastructure powering Amazon's Partner relationships. We're a group of product leaders and technologists dedicated to building scalable, secure, and innovative solutions. We work at the intersection of multiple Amazon businesses, driving technical excellence and strategic alignment across the entire Partner ecosystem.- 8+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
- Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience technical product management- Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority
- Experience interpreting and communicating analytics
- Knowledge of SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
